Dylan's Amazing Dinosaurs - The Triceratops by E.T. Harper and Dan Taylor (Simon and Schuster Children's Books)

We're very glad to see that this fab little series is still knocking it out of the park with some great dino tales. Let's get reacquainted with Dylan and his amazing Dinosaurs with one of our fave Dino species...
E.T Harper and Dan Taylor tackle the mighty Triceratops in the latest adventure in their hugely successful "Dylan's Amazing Dinosaurs" series.

Dylan, aided by his Grandad's magic Dino Journal and his fabulous toy Pterodactyl (who springs to life to help on his adventures) is off on another Triassic journey. This time his task seems very simple. Measure the Triceratops' horns and be home in time for tea.

Life in prehistoric times is anything but easy though, and as Dylan climbs up the sleeping Triceratops with his measuring tape, a gang of nasty Velociraptors are eyeing up a tasty snack or three. They rather fancy making a meal of the Triceratops, her eggs and Dylan too!

Luckily for Dylan his best buddy is on hand to perform a daring aerial rescue. Can they also retrieve the Triceratops' stolen eggs before those Velociraptors make the world's biggest omelette?

I thought Charlotte would be too 'grown up' for this book but she loved it, it's absolutely chock full of excitement and adventure - and having your own cool little cardboard Triceratops to play with makes the story come to life as well.

A great series, absolutely perfect for both boys and girls, don't miss Dylan's latest adventure!

Charlotte's favourite bit: Rolling the Triceratops' lost egg back down to her nest

Daddy's favourite bit: A hugely satisfying and exciting adventure for little ones, complete with a brill toy dino! (Don't miss the other books in the series where you can meet a T-Rex, a Stegosaurus and a Spinosaurus too!)
